Textured {cowl} edit avec tuto

Pour changer des shawls, j'ai tricoté un cowl

Lise a raison dans son commentaire, il y avait une erreur dans le comptage des mailles. Erreur réparée ! Merci Lise :-)

 Dimensions : 34 cm (27 in top) x 26 cm

Material : 6mm (US10) / 60cm circular needle

A chunky yarn that knits on 6.5 or 7mm needles (Approx 170/180 m)

Stitch marker

CO 110 sts. Join in the round, being careful not to twist stitches. Place marker at the beginning of the round.

1^st round : knit

2 : slip one st as to purl, K1, YO, pass slipped st over the knitted one and the YO repeat to the end of round

3 : knit

4 : slip one st as to purl, K1, YO, pass slipped st over the knitted one and the YO repeat to the end of round

5 : knit

6 : slip one st as to purl, K1, YO, pass slipped st over the knitted one and the YO repeat to the end of round

7 – 17 : knit

18 : slip one st as to purl, K1, YO, pass slipped st over the knitted one and the YO repeat to the end of round

19 – 22 : knit

23 : *k2tog k10* k2tog (100 st)

24 – 30 : knit

31 slip one st as to purl, K1, YO, pass slipped st over the knitted one and the YO repeat to the end of round

32 -36 : knit

37 : *k2tog k10* rep to last 4 stitches k4 (92 st)

38 – 42 : knit

43 : slip one st as to purl, K1, YO, pass slipped st over the knitted one and the YO repeat to the end of round

44 – 54 : knit

55 slip one st as to purl, K1, YO, pass slipped st over the knitted one and the YO repeat to the end of round

56 : knit

57 : slip one st as to purl, K1, YO, pass slipped st over the knitted one and the YO repeat to the end of round

58 : knit

59 : slip one st as to purl, K1, YO, pass slipped st over the knitted one and the YO repeat to the end of round

Cast off loosely.

Dimensions : Environ 34 cm de large à la base, 27 cm en haut, 26 cm de haut

Utiliser un fil qui se tricote en 6.5 ou 7 de manière à avoir un résultat souple mais qui se tient (adapter à la manière de tricoter du tricoteur). Il en faut environ 170/180 m.

Sur une aiguille circulaire 6mm, monter 110 mailles.

Tricoter un rang endroit

Tricoter 6 rangs de point fantaisie [Premier rang : glisser une maille comme si elle était tricotée à l'envers, 1 m end, 1 jeté. Rabattre la maille glissée par dessus la maille tricoté et le jeté Deuxième rang : tout à l’endroit]

Tricoter 10 rangs en jersey (tout à l’endroit, vu qu’on tricote en circulaire)

Puis 2 rangs de point fantaisie

De nouveau 2 rangs de jersey

Le rang suivant tricoter *2 mailles ensemble à l’endroit 10 mailles endroit* jusqu’au bout du rang 2 mailles ensemble (on a 100 mailles)

Tricoter 7 rangs endroit

Puis 2 rangs de point fantaisie

Tricoter 4 rangs endroit

Le rang suivant tricoter *2 mailles ensemble à l’endroit 10 mailles endroit* jusqu’au bout du rang 4 mailles endroit (on a 92 mailles)

Tricoter 5 rangs endroit

Puis 2 rangs de point fantaisie

Tricoter 10 rangs en jersey

Tricoter 5 rangs de point fantaisie 

Rabattre sur le dernier rang (rang endroit) du point fantaisie.

Rentrer les fils et c’est fini !

I made this and it is a beautiful stitch, but it curls at the edges...it doesn't lay flat and is too long to wear as a single cowl, like in the pic, and not long enough to twist twice.

Can the number of stitches be increased to make a longer cowl...if so, what would make the pattern come out correctly////
